and i KNOW what your thinking.. TI is 95lbs and 5'nothing... TRUE.. which means he has to work EVEN harder to earn your respect.. which he does in like the first 2 minutes of his firt song by saying..

and " my swag will be suing your swag in a court of law".. err.. something like that..

eitherway.. his delivery; thick southern drawl, and Confidence is DOPE..

its wierd.. sometimes when ppl reach a certain level of fame... and sucess.. and ppl are waiting with bated breathe for their next creative endovour.. the creator or "artist" stumbles and puts out crap.. i mean.. i dont REALLY know how Nellys record did.. but i've heard not well.

and i KNOW 50s record is having some problems..
and I have my theories of how that Harry Potter Author is going to follow up her whole "Hogwart" thing..
but TI comes out of the GATE guns BLAZING.... Its like he doesn't miss a beat; doesn't recognize his own sucess; and doesn't care about the PRESSURES i KNOW his label is putting on him....

If your not a very confident person.. pick up this ablum.. and jus tlisten to it 3 times though.. if your not cursing out the lady at your Local Arbys.... for not giving your extra curly fries..you must have bought the wrong album.. (... or just not have ordered curly fries)

Also when your a small framed, southern rapper; you have a MUCH lower chance of being takin seriously, and ability to suceeed then lets say a well built 6' double quarter named up NORTH rapper? but I think his "under dog" status works for him.. he uses it to his advantage.. and carries some fire that NO 6 album releasing rapper I've ever heard has... (awww man.. TI looks like a total DORK next to 50!)

when he TALKS at the end of his songs.. he's so F*cking clever/ hilarious/ confident.. i guess THATS is the formula of swag isn't it?

Swag = (Clever+Confidence+Comedy)/Legitmate urban delivery?

anyways.. its a GREAT record.. solid beats, GREAT delivery; definate swagga..

I mean.. lyrically he's on point.. they're more like just clever rhymes like.. " arguin" rhymes with " what car you in"

like rhyming is clever.. there is no play on words or anything like that..

but for the record like ; some of his songs are pretty powerful... NOT on 2 pac level.. but its just cool that he SOMEONE can still take it there..

with all these rappers trying to sing, explore musical talents, act, and sort of branch out into clothing lines and big buseinss( im not sayin TI isn't one of them).. but its just good to hear some Hip Hop thats inspired by some early 90s Gangsta mentality

I.) Style: he has a unique and inovative style like no one else or very few others on the Hip Hop Scene; Using Bape Clothing, hos long dreads and Inked up small frame, and even Tatted up FACE! Lil Wayne is immediatley recongizable and soon to be a cultural Icon that transcends Rap

II.) He's GHETTTTOOOOO!!!; have we forgoten that Hiphop was almost strategically designed to hate on fancy suits well manicured hair and over all boogie-ness?!... and now with acts like Jay -Z and Diddy its almost part of it.. lil WEEEZY takes hip hop BACK to its Roots but in a unique an interesting way

III.) Swagger: a mix of conifdence; Style and personality.. that can't be taught, or emulated

IV.) Delivery: with a light raspy voice; confused / enteratining delivery you have NO IDEA what he's going to say next; like an un organized lower vocabularied Eminem. Sometimes its GENIUS.. other times its absolutley MORONIC!!.. its the thrill of playing the " verbal lottery"..

V.) Misunderstood: the Times of socially concious / angry rappers like 2 pac and Biggie and Nas are over ... I dont want to hear anothe rapper complain about his poverty or love his mom.. Pac already did that and he cannot be de-throned ... I dont want to hear another rapper talk about selling crack or shooting guns.. TI and Biggie put that ship to sale a WHILE back.... so whats left?... well for one thing.. WORD PLAY!!.. its fun.. clever.. intelligent.. and stupid all at the same time!!.. and LIL- WEEEZY's got it down to a Science!
